Visiting is between 3 - 4 pm and again between 6.30 - 7.30pm. Visiting outside these hours is at the discretion of ward managers or those designated in charge of a ward if a ward manager is not available.

Advice for visitors to the hospital remains as follows:

• Visitors should not visit if they have symptoms of respiratory like illness such as cough sore throat and or gastrointestinal illness such as vomiting & diarrhoea.
• Visitors should follow basic infection prevention and control precautions, including hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette when in the hospital.
• Visitors are requested to keep SIVUH clean and to report any areas of concern in regards to cleanliness to department they are attending.
• In the event of an outbreak, visiting will be restricted to compassionate visiting only, on prior approval with the ward manager.
