My specific areas of interest include:
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Spondyloarthritis: Psoriatic arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Crohn’s etc.
- Connective Tissue Disease: SLE, Scleroderma, Myositis, Sarcoid etc.
- Vasculitis: Giant cell / Temporal arteritis, Small Vessel (Wegener’s etc.)
- Osteoporosis and bone health.
- Polymyalgia Rheumatica, Crystalline arthritis.
I completed undergraduate medical education in UCD in 2005 followed by higher specialist training in rheumatology and general internal medicine with the RCPI. I was awarded a EULAR postgraduate certificate in rheumatology in 2010 and a PhD by UCD in 2012 for my thesis on the therapy of rheumatoid and spondyloarthritis. I subsequently undertook a 2 year tenure as a consultant in the Department of Vasculitis and Lupus in Addenbrooke’s Hospital Cambridge and laterally have become a certified clinical densitometrist for the purpose of DXA evaluation.
I look forward to cooperating with you for the care of your patients.
