Department Profile

Department Description

Nurse led clinic encompassing all types of wounds  eg surgical, plastics, orthopaedic, dermatological. Clients are referred from within the hospital. There are 1.73 WTE nurses plus student rotation on a regular basis, OPD provide regular relief nurses.

Services Provided
Wound care , Dressings, Advise and education for  Patients ,families and hospital staff, GPs, Public Health nurses. Diagnostic procedures

Location

The Department is located on the south side of the complex next to Orthopaedics Out Patients
