Introduction to GP Online Referral System

GPs can request appointments for patients using the SIVUH GP Services web site. At present, this facility includes online appointment requests for

Chest Pain Assessment Unit

Breast Clinics – Ms Deirdre O’Hanlon, Mr Denis Richardson, Mr Martin O'Sullivan and Either Removed 01/12/09

Dermatology Pigmented Lesion Clinic

Dr John Bourke General Dermatology Clinic

Dr John Bourke Dermatitis Clinic

Ms Deirdre O’Hanlon General Clinics

Mr Patrick Sheahan Otolaryngology Head, Neck & Thyroid Surgery Clinic

Problems Logging In

The SIVUH GP Services web site requires the use of cookies to facilitate secure login. If you are using Internet Explorer 7 the Privacy setting in Tools > Internet Options should be set to "Medium High" in order to accept the login cookie automatically. Alternative if you use a higher privacy setting, you can click the "Sites" button and add "sivuh.ie" and click the "Allow" button. This will allow the login cookie for the GP Services web site.

Problems receiving email confirmation of submitted Referral request

Some email programmes may move the confirmation email to the ‘Junk’ folder unless website@gp.sivuh.ie is listed as a ‘safe sender’ on the account.
